Department of Education & Science Campus, Marlborough Street, Dublin 1

This project involved the refurbishment and reconstruction of 5 listed buildings, the insertion of 3 new office buildings and an underground car park. Tyrone House, which is one of the most architecturally significant 18th century buildings in Ireland accommodates the offices of the Minister for Education & Science. It was fully refurbished as part of the project. The completed development provides over 6000 square metres of high quality offices. The project was carried out in six separate contracts on a rolling programme which enabled the Department and 3 adjoining schools continue to function throughout the construction period. MCA provided full architectural services for the project.
