West Wing

This 7 storey extension accommodates a radiotherapy unit, a day surgery facility, in-patient wards, health check and eye laser departments.  Completed in 2000, it adjoins the laboratories, coronary care unit and patient bed wards.  The project required the extension of two stairs/lift cores and the phasing of construction to enable the Hospital to continue to operate at all times.  MCA provided full architectural, project management and interior design services for the project.
