Brian Murphy graduated in 1988 and has been in private practice with Michael Collins since 1990. He became a Director of MCA in 1997.
Brian has acted as architect in charge on many projects with responsibility for design and project management. He has worked on a wide variety of projects including the design and construction of the Islamic Cultural Centre in Clonskeagh, the conversion of 2 existing warehouses into a digital television news production and broadcast facility for TV3 and the construction of the Four Seasons Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
He was the architect in charge for the redevelopment of the Department of Education & Science campus which was carried out over a 10 year rolling programme by the Office of Public Works. He has been involved in many office fit outs for clients such as the Health & Safety Authority, Deutsche Bank, FBD, Fortis and JM Huber.
He is involved in major developments at Killeen Castle and at Luttrellstown Castle. He has also been the architect in charge of projects at Killiney Golf Club, St Anne’s Golf Club and for Wexford and Hermitage Golf Clubs.
