Twitter Fit Out – Cumberland House
This project comprised the complete refurbishment and extension to No. 1 Cumberland Place, Dublin 2.
The development consisted of the demolition of an existing reception pavilion, removal of low performance glazing and the construction of a number of highly sustainable and contemporary interventions, including a new reception pavilion, window ‘box’ and extension to rear podium.
Internally the base build interventions provide reoriented circulation and additional area enabling tenant arrival and client function. Externally the contemporary architectural treatment to the interventions provide place marking and street identity.
The project fit-out is located over 5no. floors and includes generally: reception, barista, client function and training rooms, open plan office, micro kitchens, canteen and gym. Full shower and bike parking facilities are also provided. To the rear podium a new landscaped terrace is provided as an enviable amenity for the enjoyment of Twitter staff and visitors.
This complex project was completed on time and in a collaborative and positive manor from the outset. Great credit is due to the client and design team for their efforts throughout.
