Luttrellstown Castle is set on an estate of approximately 560 acres with mature woodlands and landscaped gardens and lake, part of which is taken up by an 18 hole golf course and clubhouse. The estate has a rich architectural history, the main part of the castle dates from the late 19th Century and incorporates elements constructed in the 12th Century.

MCA were commissioned to prepare a master plan and provide architectural services for the estate including the refurbishment of the castle, the construction of a new 5 star hotel in the walled gardens, the extension of the golf course and club house and the integration of new residential accommodation. The proposal also included the repair and restoration of the castle to form the central element of a boutique hotel and leisure facility.
