Part 1 Architectural Assistant - Year Out Position

Dublin, Grand Canal Dock | 6–12 month contract

MCA Architects is looking for a creative and motivated Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our Dublin studio for a year out placement. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on exciting projects across architecture, interiors, and master planning, while developing your professional skills in a collaborative design environment.

What You’ll Do

As part of our studio team, you’ll:

• Support the development of design and detail solutions
• Produce presentation and technical drawings
• Assist with computer-based modelling and visualisations
• Collaborate with architects and designers on live projects

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Strong SketchUp modelling skills (please show examples in your portfolio)
• Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Confident spoken and written English

Bonus (nice to have):

• Experience with Revit (BIM) and rendering software
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop
