Enveloped into the coastal landscape with a natural form

St. Anne’s is a wonderfully modern clubhouse with unrivalled and uninterrupted panoramic views stretching from Howth Head to the north, across Dublin Bay to Bray Head and the Wicklow mountains.

Following a limited design competition, MCA were selected as architects for the refurbishment and extension of the club. The overall concept integrated the building fully into the landscape in a form that appears quite natural while remaining functional and attractive. Refurbishment works included fit-out of bar and restaurant areas, as well as external areas. The building design respects and merges into the environment of naturally formed sand dunes.
