A sublime reimagining of the landmark distillery.

Clonminch, Co. Offaly

Located on a 58-acre site on the outskirts of Clonminch, this reimagining of the Tullamore Distillery heralded the return of whiskey production to its roots for the first time since 1954.

MCA completed a fit out for this 3-storey visitor centre known as the 3 Sisters which sits at the heart of the new distillery plant.  The building houses the production process from Still House to Warehouse. Accommodation includes a blending room, state-of-the-art conferencing facilities, the award-winning Bond restaurant, a variety of bars, tasting areas and ancillary spaces.

Warm tones are used to reflect the whiskey's honey dew and caramel hues.

Like a traditional Irish setting, there is a mix of open seating and tight nook and cranny spaces. A blend of cask timber and Irish oak is used to great effect within the finishes. Furniture is a mix of leather seating, bog oak table tops with contemporary stainless steel and plush upholstery. Soft warm tones are used throughout incorporating the whiskey's honey dew and caramel hues.

A welcome addition to the Midlands, the distillery is considered one of its leading landmark attractions, offering a unique tourist experience steeped in local history and tradition.
