MCA were appointed to provide full architectural, interior design and project management services for the design and construction of the clubhouse set in the woodlands adjacent to the castle.
The main ground floor of the building is south facing and includes a members’ bar, a multi-purpose room and a restaurant with external terraces overlooking the course. Locker rooms include 5-star washing, grooming, changing and treatment facilities together with a pro-shop of 140m² adjacent to main entrance are also provided at ground floor.
Its Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf course has augmented the club’s international reputation as a leading golf facility in Ireland, hosting the Ladies Irish Open two years running and the world renowned Solheim Cup in 2011.
